Andrew Tencati - FF/P

Andrew Tencati is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Sacramento Fire Department. He Founded Sierra Fire Rescue in 2001. Tencati has been a Paramedic for SideTrax EMS, Enloe Hospital, and First Responder EMS of Chico, as well as St. Elizabeth's Hospital of Red Bluff. He is also the Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC) for the National Autosport Association (NASA). Tencati has also been a Firefighter/EMT (emergency medical technician) for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF), Santa Clara Ranger Unit. He is a California State Fire Marshall-certified Firefighter I and a nationally registered paramedic (NREMT-P).

Additionally, Tencati has experience in fire suppression and prevention, vehicle extrication, technical rescue operations and hazardous materials response. Tencati holds an associate of science degree in fire science from Mission College, Santa Clara, Calif. He also holds a paramedic certificate from Emergency Training Services (ETS), Santa Cruz, Calif. and an EMT-I certificate from Cuesta College, San Luis Obispo, Calif. Other certificates include Extrication Technician, Rescue Systems I, Swiftwater Rescue Technician-I, Fire Control 5, Incident Command Systems 100-200, Wildland Firefighting S-130, S-131 and S-190, Terrorism Consequence Management, Emergency Medical Response to Terrorist Incidents, Emergency Response to Terrorism, I-Zone Fire Suppression, Confined Space Rescue, and Emergency Vehicle Operations from the Sacramento Regional Driver Training Authority.

Jennifer Tencati

Jennifer Tencati's public relations experience spans the motorsports, high-tech and medical industries. Currently, she is the public relations coordinator for Enloe Medical Center in Chico, Calif. She is responsible for internal promotions, as well as external media relations. Her additional responsibilities include coordination of community events and hospital representation at said events and maintaining the organization's Web site. Previously, she was an account executive with public relations firm Porter Novelli (formerly Tsantes & Associates), in Campbell, Calif. At Porter Novelli, she was instrumental in launching numerous products and technologies targeted at the portable and wireless markets - from leading-edge microwave and radio-frequency (RF) modules to industry-first nonvolatile memory devices. She was also a contributing member of the company's I-Team, an internal group that focuses on the Internet and Internet-related services.

At Porter Novelli, Tencati represented accounts, including Analog Devices (ADI), Artisan Components, Cisco Systems, Integrated Device Technology (IDT), NEC Electronics, NetLogic Microsystems, Silicon Storage Technology, Inc. (SST) and Wireless Access. Before joining Porter Novelli, Tencati worked at San Jose, California-based Elliott|Dickens Advertising. Prior to Elliott|Dickens, Tencati worked for an advertising division of PennWell Corporation.

Tencati holds a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising with an emphasis in business administration and marketing from San Jose State University. She is currently a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA); has been a member of the Northern California Business Marketing Association (BMA) since 1999 and was part of the team responsible for implementing and coordinating the First Annual BMA Job Fair.
